About the app
Vellum is Vellamore's internal app for our house managers and admins. Vellamore creates every account; there is no sign-up. Vellum runs on iPhone.
Signing in
Enter your work email address, and Vellum will email you a six-digit code. If the code doesn't arrive:
- check your spam or junk folder;
- remember that codes expire after 10 minutes;
- use the newest email if you asked more than once, because only the most recent code works;
- wait a while before trying again if you have asked for several codes or entered wrong ones, because sign-in is paused for a time after that;
- contact Vellamore if it still doesn't come, since your account may not be set up yet.
You can be signed in on more than one iPhone with the same account.
The app locked itself
Vellum locks after 5 minutes without use. Unlock it with Face ID or your iPhone passcode. This works without signal too.
Working without signal
Everything you record is saved on the phone straight away and sent to Vellamore when you are back in signal. Go to More, then Sync, to see what is still waiting to send.
- Don't delete the app while anything is waiting to send. If you do, that work is lost.
- Photographs upload when the app is open and has signal.
"This is not available to you"
You are signed in with an admin account, and admins don't record visits in the app. Sign in with the house manager account you were given, or contact Vellamore.
Lost or replaced phone
Tell Vellamore straight away so we can shut off access from that phone. On a new phone, install Vellum and sign in again.
Door and access codes
Codes are shown only when you have a connection, after a second check, and only for a short time. They are never saved on the phone. If a code won't show, check that you have signal, then try again.

Never send door codes, passcodes or sign-in codes by email.
